Could you tell us about your company’s products or solutions that enhance patient safety?

Bin Ali Medical Supplies UAE is the leading manufacturer and seller of all-inclusive infection preventive and patient safety products. By manufacturing and distributing physical and chemical barriers, our company is using a comprehensive, holistic strategy to help stop the spread of nosocomial diseases in medical and dental healthcare facilities in the UAE, the GCC, and around the world.

The 2022 event sees a return to the traditional in-person format. What are you looking forward to the most from in-person interactions at this year’s show?

Innovative new platforms proved excellent tools for maintaining communication with professional groups, but they had also revealed shortcomings when coming to supplier-end-user interactions. I'm particularly eager to maintain informal conversations with our prestigious clients in person. Our main target is to meet our end-users so that we may present our new products and technologies. Such contact usually results in important insights that inform our future product innovation.

Nearly three years on from the start of the pandemic, how has patient safety changed?

Healthcare suppliers now place high priority on adhering to stricter infection control procedures, due to the enormous increase in public awareness of the hazards associated with infectious diseases. During the COVID-19 pandemic,  practices such as proper hygiene and social distancing were followed. COVID-related preventative strategies have helped to suppress a variety of dangerous epidemics.

What are you showcasing at Patient Safety this year?

We will mainly be showcasing our patient care, sterilisation and monitoring solutions.

Could you shed light on any future plans?

Next year, we are planning to introduce new products in areas that include instrument processing, quality checking and evaluation, and central sterile supply units.
