Could you tell us about your company’s products or solutions that enhance patient safety?
Al Fahim Healthcare, whose core business is serving the Healthcare Laboratory sector, has a division focusing on infection control and food safety, which includes hygiene monitoring devices and rapid medical devices. In the future, we plan to include devices and solutions for air purification, and disinfectants for hospitality and food manufacturing companies.
The 2022 event sees a return to the traditional in-person format. What are you looking forward to the most from in-person interactions at this year’s show?
We are hoping to add several partners in the field of infection control, rapid microbiology, and devices/equipment for air purification, which have been in demand post-pandemic.
What are you showcasing at Patient Safety this year?
We are focusing on our new automated tuberculosis Identification systems from Oxford Immunotech,a PerkinElmer company, along with hygiene monitoring systems from Hygiena, a UK company, at this Patient Safety Congress.
Nearly three years on from the start of the pandemic, how has patient safety changed?
Digital marketing has become a necessity for marketing departments post-pandemic, and now all companies are including digital marketing budgets. This has given companies a stronger digital presence.
