The workshop will review usage of the seven quality tools to improve service processes in healthcare. Learn to understand potential problem causes, collect and analyse data, and solve problems using the fishbone diagram, 5 whys, Pareto chart, scatter diagram, check sheet, flowchart, and run chart. These simple but powerful tools can help hospitals forward with improved quality.
The workshop is designed to explore existing quality tools to find innovative ways for the participants to identify causes, understand processes, collect and analyse data, generate ideas, keep projects on track, and make informed decisions for all their continuous improvement activities.
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to understand the purpose of each quality tool and its relevance for each stage of the Six-Sigma methodology DMAIC - Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, and Control.
