CME (Continuing Medical Education) Procedures at Patient Safety Virtual

IMPORTANT CME information:

You will only be able to claim CME points for sessions watched at the exact session date and times in order to claim CME’s during the online conference - from 4 - 6 Nov  (Dubai Time -  GMT + 4 only). 

After the session has ended, the ability to claim CME credits will not be available.

CME Claiming Procedure

Accreditation will be applied with Cleveland Clinic. Informa Markets, the organisers of Patient Safety Virtual, are always striving to produce high quality and up to date medical conferences. We therefore appreciate all comments and feedback from our delegates, and we always ensure that we refer to them when producing the next year’s programmes.

When you claim your CME online you will be given the opportunity to evaluate the conference in order to receive your AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and certificate.

 

How long can delegates claim CME Credits post-event?

It is mandatory for delegates who wish to claim CME points to follow these procedures:

  • The evaluation and CME credit claiming will be available online approximately 10 business days after the event date.
  • An e-mail from Informa will be sent to you with instructions for claiming AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, and you will have 60 days following the activity to claim credits.
  • Participants will need to be logged in to be able to claim CME credits. Please note that the email address used by participants to log into the event should be the same email address used for credit claiming.
  •  Once you will be granted access to claim credit and complete the evaluation for that activity.
  •  Please feel free to email our registration team if you failed to receive the claiming instructions after 10 business working days post event ([email protected])

 

How can I reprint my certificate?

Login to myCME and click on ‘Transcript’ (located on the grey bar). Select the checkbox next to the date/title of the activity that you are wanting to print a certificate for.  Once selection is made, click ‘Print Certificate(s)’. The certificate will then be displayed for you to print or save on your computer.  Please follow the same process to print the transcript, except select ‘Print Transcript’.

 

When to claim CME Certificate

Delegates and speakers will receive and email from Informa with instructions for claiming CME certificates via email ([email protected]) by the 18th November 2021.

If a delegate has not received an email confirmation from [email protected] or if he/she has registered and paid on the day of the event, please make sure the email address is captured by approaching our staff onsite or email [email protected] for support.

 

How long can delegates claim CME Credits post-event?

  • You will have 60 days following the activity to claim credits.
  • Once you log in to MyCME you will find the activity and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the evaluation and claim your CME credit.

 Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, printed copies of the conference syllabus will not be distributed. The syllabus will be made available on each session. Delegates are requested to download the syllabus for ready reference.
